For more than 15 years, I’ve been working in advertising and the creative industry while somehow managing to keep my ego at a reasonably healthy level. Which, honestly, is harder in this business than people think.
Before I handed my soul over to this industry, I worked as a tax clerk. So yes, I also understand that numbers matter. A lot. Profitability, efficiency and sustainable business are not just buzzwords I throw into presentations to sound smart.
I basically grew up in gastronomy, which taught me early how to deal with all kinds of people. Different moods, different personalities, different expectations. That still helps me every single day when it comes to communication, leadership and understanding humans beyond the briefing.
Since 2020, though, my most important role has been being a good father. Together with my family, I live near Cologne while working with clients and brands around the world.
